The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Indianapolis on Tuesday night for a non-conference matchup against Perry Meridian. The Lady Bulldogs were down by 5 at the end of the 1st quarter but started to ramp up the pressure, getting multiple steals and easy buckets in the second and third quarters. The Bulldogs were up 21 to 19 and 29 to 24 at the end of the third. The Lady Bulldogs’ energy, effort, and enthusiasm were OFF THE CHARTS especially on the defensive end, giving the Bulldogs the opportunity to seize the win on an opponents’ home court. Making the plays they needed to make, and hitting some timely free throws down the stretch, the Bulldogs won 42-38! Leading the scoring efforts was Kendall Davison with 18 and Allison Robbins with 14. Rounding out the scoring was Addy Sheets with 2, Sam Adams with 5, and Sara Parkison with 3. Allison Robbins and Kendall Davison led the way on the glass with Kendall collecting 7 rebounds and Allison 6. As a team, the Bulldogs set a season high with blocked shots with 6, as Addy Sheets, Kendall Davison, Allison Robbins, and Sam Adams each had one, and Sara Parkison had 2. The Bulldogs also stole the ball 12 times as Kendall Davison had 6, and Erika Robbins and Sam Adams each had 3. The Bulldogs play again on Friday at home against University with the JV Game starting at 6 pm. Let’s go Bulldogs!!!
